Dark-bellied Cinclodes, Isla Carlos III, Straits of Magellan
Photo: L. Bertea

During this trip we visit the Otway Sound Magellanic Penguin colony located to the north-west of the city of Punta Arenas. We drive towards Rio Verde located some 90 kilometres north-west of Punta Arenas, from the road will be able to see Andean Condor roosts. From this point we start our trip to the Patagonian Fjords in search of birds and marine mammals that are characteristic of this environment. This trip is planned in five days, so that the best option for weather is taken among that period. The visit to Noir Island is a day trip and could eventually be cancelled if there is no window of good weather to ensure a safe navegation in these five days.
